FARHILLS innovators Ceylon boasts a skilled and extensively qualified team of advisors specializing in innovation and growth. Mr. Janaka Gunawardana, the visionary behind FARHILLS innovators, established the company thirty years ago. Each director at FARHILLS is a distinguished inventor who has won national awards in their specific fields.
We have witnessed a tremendous surge in popularity for our initial crafting and artisan tea, as well as our handmade valuable green tea projects, which we were the first to introduce in Sri Lanka. The introduction of the low country tea grade took place at Handolla estate, Pitigala, Galle, Sri Lanka, three years ago. Since then, our business has flourished and is now expanding across the entire country.
Our FARHILLS innovators are extremely grateful to the Drone producer for it’s invaluable contribution to tea cultivation. Our director of operations Mr. Sankalpa de Silva, is responsible for producing the most powerful agricultural drone in Asia in 2019. Through the introduction of green tea and tea mini factories, we have successfully transformed the mindset of small tea farmers. Additionally, we take pride in designing, developing, and patenting the first heavy weeder with a square hole cutting machine in Sri Lanka.
